Fine for what it is.

Overall, the place was fine, and if you just want somewhere reasonable to get your head down for a night, then it's spot on. Location is great for accessing Cardiff centre.

We didn't realise Ibis Budget was a thing (not their fault) and so hadn't structured our expectations for how basic it would be - no kettle in the room, etc. Staff weren't overly friendly or helpful. Parking is a bit of a shambles. Bed wasn't comfy.

It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was good value for money, cheap and cheerful.

The toilet door didn't have a proper latch or a lock on it so could be easily opened. Toilet cubicle was extremely small and felt quite claustrophobic. Shower door was see frosted glass so was see through and door handle was just a hole in the door. Was lacking a lot of privacy because of this.

The Room was basic it was adapted for people with additional needs so red alarm cords all over the bathroom I hope that someone who needed a adapted room wasn't turned away because it wasn't available.

Electric vehicle charging unavailable because they don't leave the charging spaces available for people who would like to use them. In my opinion it's a little bit pointless getting the grants to put them in if they can't be used.

The hotel was generally good. Only some staffs are not meant to be at the front desk of the reception as they don't posess customer service skills including that guy who sounded like south asian or latino and the black girl who cleans up toilet, they got the worst attitude and arrogance when dealing with patrons. overall the hotel is budget friendly.

parking is first come first served and £5 per day. Disgusting.

Clean, cheap, available. Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful; one even moved her car to enable us to park on the carpark. It was great that we could have our dog there with us too.

Someone in the hotel was smoking drugs... the corridor smelt of weed. I did not much like the area which felt a bit unsafe.

Bread rolls with cheese and ham very good, plenty of food , room ok - basic ,but served purpose. Staff in reception v.friendly and helpful, created relaxing atmosphere.

Clean and comfortable budget hotel. Good value for money. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Didn’t try the breakfast but coffee and tea available in reception was good.

Limited facilities in room. Was not impressed at being disturbed by a lone security guard after 2330hrs accusing me of smoking in my room..I don’t smoke..he then came back 10 minutes later insisting again..

The room was very clean. We have stayed in a lot of hotels in the past, this was the first budget hotel, and far surpassed all the others not just the cleaness of the room, but all the areas including the lifts. The staff were very friendly,and offering directions to our venue. The air conditioning was fab, we had it on all night and never heard it as it was so quiet, definitely a first!, We will definitely be returning and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone who will listen.

The only complaint was the breakfast. Very little choice for a continental.

It is exactly what it says on the tin. It is a budget hotel in the centre of Cardiff. Room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. What else can you ask for at the price we paid. If you want 5 star treatment and facilities this is not the place to go. One of our party did have an issue with the security staff, will be back if this needs further comment.

Nothing to complain about.
